Meetings

Annual public meetings convene for listening to reports of the Board of Directors, making decision on the general subjects like as membership features, monetary reports, formalities, engaging to general entomological controversies, etc. The latest annual public meeting was held in the late of summer 2003. The activity of ESI is divided into three-year-spans since 1968 . At the end of each span and in an annual public meeting all Board of Directors should be elected. They will elect the JESI editorial board later. The ed. board election must be renewed after two years.
In some occasional technical meetings, lecturers hold on new topics concerning on the most recent findings of original researches.
Iranian Congresses of Plant Protection (ICPP) hold biennially along with the cooperation of Entomological Society of Iran. Phytopathological Society of Iran and a volunteer Iranian university. Monthly meetings of JESI editorial board hold on the Thursdays for editing the received papers and formatting of the journal.
