How can I receive the Journal of Entomological Society of Iran?

• In Iran

1- If you are a member of the entomological society, the journal will be freely sent to you. For the previous volumes, should leave a 25000 Rls deposit into account no. 0342060668 of Tejarat bank, branch of Shahid Beheshti University (code 3420) for entomological Society of Iran and send the copy of receipt to the society.

2- Non members, organizations and universities should leave 25000 Rls deposit into the same account number and send the copy of receipt to the society.



• Out of Iran

1- The people from abroad can send their request with e-mail or post.

2- The research centers and societies which are in contact with the entomological society of Iran receive the periodical journal by post.

How can I join to the ESI?

Applicants should fill out the membership form and send it to ESI. After the confirmation of Board of Directors, the society will contact the applicants. According to the 4th article of the society's association, there are 3 kinds of membership:

• Nondependent members:


Includes the people who have education on agricultural entomology, natural recourses, medical entomology, veterinary and related sciences. This membership should be approved by the Board of Directors.



• Dependent members:

A: The students of entomological science can request for membership. Volunteers should fill out the application form and get the form confirmed by their professors or the members of ESI and then send it to the secretary of the society. This membership should also be approved by the Board of Directors.
B: The people who have no entomological education but are interested in entomology can also apply for the membership



• Honorary members:


The Board of Directors can annually select maximum 2 people as the honorary members.

Is there any discount for students?

For the nonmember students in Iran the journal will have a 50 percent reduction.

• The membership fee for students (B.Sc. students) in each year is 1/2 of the others.



• The registration fee of Plant Protection congresses would have discount for the students.

Which volumes of JESI are out of print?

At the moment, volumes no. 11 & 14 and the supplement no. 6 are out of print.
